Raspberries are my FAVOURITE fruit. With #OperationWeddingBod in full effect, they are my go-to when I am craving something sweet. Plus, they contain more Vitamin C than oranges, are super high in fibre, low in calories, and supply you with a good dose of folic acid. Oh, and they are high in potassium, vitamin A, and calcium. Can't complain!
Boneto and I made it a goal before Olivia was born that every 2nd Friday we would have a date night; however, the past few months we have been failing miserably at this. But not tonight... Let's see if we can relax and not worry about getting any wedding stuff done!
Olivia loves water and being outside. I love that I have the freedom to spend warm summer mornings playing with her at the park; no one should have to choose between their children and earning a living.
However, Olivia is also suffering from some serious separation anxiety. It used to just manifest at night - now, it's pretty much constant. She wants to be held 95% of the time and has taken to throwing herself on the floor when you don't pick her up immediately. Isn't it a little early for tantrums?! When did your babies start throwing fits?
Positivity and love, people. As a wise man once said, darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. I often fear for our children and the state of the world that we are leaving them with; however, when I look at this sweet, innocent girl sitting in sunshine, I also know that I must do everything in my power to leave this world at least a little better than I found it.
