Over here, 2017 wasn't exactly easy but that doesn't mean there weren't some pretty freakin' great moments. I'm heading into 2018 with some crazy big goals but first, I thought it would be fun to review 2017. So, if you want to see how the past year was for us over in the Edwards house, for our family and the biz... keep reading!

January
  • I completed the Whole 30 (hello Sugar Detox!)
  • I became a member of the Calgary Market Council and began organizing quarterly trainings for health and wellness coaches in our community
February:
  • I took my Insanity Live Instructor certification
  • Our niece turned 15
March
  • I spoke at a live event for other coaches, checking off a bucket list item from October 2015
  • My stepson turned 10 and my husband turned 29
  • And to celebrate his birthday, Boneto started studying at SAIT
April
  • We traveled as a family to Mexico
  • And then, a week later, Boneto and I went on our belated honeymoon (a trip I won from the health and fitness company I am partnered with) to the Punta Cana
May
  • I completed a 3 week nutritional reset (2 weeks of vacation kind of make this a necessity)
  • The toddler and I travelled to Vancouver to celebrate my mama's 60th birthday
  • I celebrated 1 whole year of being my own boss!
June
  • Olivia turned 2 years old and we threw a Moana-themed birthday party
July
  • I travelled to New Orleans (all by myself!! #momvacay) for training and time spent with some of my favourite people!
  • We celebrated 1 whole year of marriage
August
  • I started my Life Coach Certification Course
September
  • I started the 30 Day Minimalism Game (read about it here), got rid of SO MUCH STUFF, and fell in love with cleaning, decluttering, and organization
  • Olivia started playschool and this mama got a couple of hours to herself 3 mornings a week
October
  • I started my weekly newsletter, a goal I had set for 2017! I didn't really know what I wanted it to look like or what I was doing but I started anyway. Thanks for being here!!
  • I also started Mama Mugs, a custom design mug business that is my passion project. Look for more mug designs (and an expanded line of products) coming in 2018
November
  • I started blogging regularly and remembered that I love to write
  • So, I started writing a book as well!
  • I traveled to Detroit with my husband for his annual football trip (he has a goal to see a game in every stadium).
December
  • I turned 30 and celebrated at a Tony Robbins event
  • I finished my first journal/workbook, which will be available on Amazon sometime in early 2018!
  • I spent almost a week with family to celebrate the holidays and there ain't nothing better than that

What incredible, amazing, exciting things happened for you in 2017??
